Windows Live Writer?

September 11th, 2007

So I’m trying this thing out. This Writer business. Pardon me, since I’m new to all this blogging business. But I’m just now beginning to see how far this has all gone, how it’s the big thing now. But I guess this little thing gives an extra fancy look to everything. And makes it easier to spice up the blog entries. Which would make this more into a real kind of website, now wouldn’t it? Ooh, it even spell checks (”website” -not a word?).

So anyone curious out there, I’d definitely recommend (thank you spell-check) this little piece of software for any bloggers, much like myself. Fancy.

There is something extremely satisfying about being able to click a button in my browser, see this attractive (yet simple) interface of this thing they call WordPress, and be able to type whatever I want to have published instantly to the world. It gives me this feeling that I don’t believe they have a word for, or at least none that I know of.

I think this is why I find developing web applications so satisfying. Not only is it the future, it’s a completely new step forward. You can access it from anywhere and never have to worry about installations on the user-side, and it is directly hooked up to that wonderful thing we call the Internet. And the possibilities with something with that kind of hookup are basically infinite. Which means it’s going to take a long time before developing for this internet becomes boring.

So I just wanted to take advantage of this incredibly-made little piece of web application to let you know how great it all is.
